It’s a Colorful Life!

I was going through my photos the other day, and this one caught my eye. It was taken at the San Francisco Ferry Building Farmer’s Market last year and the beautiful color of these gorgeous peppers made me stop for a minute in my busy day.

Spring is almost here. I can feel it. I’ve already started thinking about what I want to plant in my garden next year. I have a mostly shade garden, so it is very difficult to plant anything but shade flowers and foliage. I do have one little strip, however, that gets sunlight for a few hours a day. Because it is so small, I have to be very selective about what I can plant there. I always like to have herbs, because I use herbs all the time when I cook, but I don’t want to limit my edible garden to just herbs. So, I though I might grow a tomato plant or two… until I saw this photo. Maybe I should plant peppers. They are so pretty, but what to plant? Jalapeño peppers? Red Bell peppers? Green Poblano peppers? Purple peppers? I think it’s really about the color for me, rather than the eating of the peppers, but I just can’t decide.

I’ve had the same problem with the latest new products from Technique cookware. I will be on QVC on Wednesday, March 7th presenting the Today’s Special Value, and let me tell you… it IS special. It’s big and beautiful and colorful. The hardest part… deciding what color!

Tune in to QVC on Wednesday, March 7th to see the whole kit and caboodle in action, or come back to this page where I’ll tell you all about it then.
