I’m spending the Canadian long weekend up in Canada right now, and let me tell you … it is HOT! Yesterday’s “feels like” temperature was 104 degrees F. Now, you might be saying, “come on, Meredith, it’s been around 100 degrees in Philadelphia many times this summer.” But here’s the difference, in Philadelphia we expect high temperatures and have air conditioning in order to deal with it. In Canada… no such luck. There is no air conditioning in my home in Canada because these temperatures rarely happen. So, even though it is scorching outside it is definitely the season for the BBQ because there is no way we are going to turn on the oven. I’m not even turning on light bulbs right now!
