Author: The Blue Jean Chef, Meredith Laurence
Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 packaged mini graham cracker tartlet crusts
- 2 cups cherry pie filling
- Streusel Topping:
- 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅓ cup walnuts, chopped
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 330°F.
- Combine the cream cheese, sugar, egg, flour and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix until smooth. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the bottom of the tartlet shells. Air-fry three tartlets at a time at 330ºF for 4 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, make the streusel topping by combining the flour, sugar, cinnamon, walnuts and melted butter. Toss the mixture with a fork until it forms small crumbles. Set aside.
- Spoon two tablespoons of the cherry pie filling into each tartlet, on top of the cheese layer and then sprinkle each one with the streusel topping. Return the tartlets to the air fryer in batches and air-fry the tartlets at 330ºF for an additional 15 minutes, until the topping is golden brown.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with some whipped cream if desired.
