It’s hard to believe that there’s only one week to Christmas Day! Don’t fret though - there’s still time to make some quick and easy holiday food gifts for the ones you love. You’ll just need some ingredients and some fun packaging. Honestly, thinking about it takes much longer than actually making these gifts, so stop thinking and get cooking! I’ve got 5 easy ideas for you here…
Everyone loves nibbles at the holiday. I used my air fryer to make three great nibbly snacks:
These Spiced Nuts are made by mixing any nuts that you like with a mixture of spices, some sugar and egg whites. Super easy. Just remember to stir them as they cook. They are SO addictive. The only trouble with this gift is that it won’t last long!
You can add a variety of different snacks to this mix. Making that decision will take more time than the mix itself. Pick well and then toss the snacks with honey, butter and salt. The air fryer will do the rest.
If you have a jar of Cajun Seasoning, this recipe just got a whole lot easier! Otherwise, not to worry - you can make your own Cajun seasoning and I’ll show you how.
If you don’t have an air fryer, or don’t want to give the gift of snacking, how about making a quick and easy chutney in your pressure cooker? It takes no time and there’s only one pot to clean at the end. Here’s one of my holiday favorites - Pear Cranberry Chutney. Dress it up in pretty jars with ribbons and stickers and you’re all set. It’s delicious on pork, chicken, or even a piece of cheese.
Of course, I would never leave out the most important family members in my gift giving! If you have dogs in your household, or know a household with a dog, you will be a hit with this gift - Puppy Poppers! They take 8 minutes in the air fryer, or you can bake them in your oven for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Your furriest friends will LOVE these! Hazel sure did!
Happy Gift Giving!
